Difficulty
If you can breathe you can change your cabin air filter.
How often to change your cabin air filter
BMW reccomends you change your cabin air filter every Inspection I, which is about every 30,000 miles. However, it doesn't hurt anything to change it at any time. It is used to help filter the air that is blown into the car, so if you live in a dusty environment, you should probably be changing it sooner than that. You can also change it if you would like some fresher air!
